Who are WM
WM Construction was founded in 2005 in Kingsbridge, Devon. Two friends believed their skills complemented each other and together they could create a great building firm.
The owner director
Kris Mahon, a local man, learnt his trade at Plymouth College. When not onsite building, Kris used to be a retained firefighter and he enjoys sailing and shooting.
Kris is pictured at the 2014 LABC Building Excellence awards where WM were finalists.
THE BUILDING TEAM
We have a core team of 10 employees who deliver our in-house services. Since 2005 we have flexed our staff numbers as projects dictate.
TRAINING IN SKILLS AND SITE SAFETY
We make sure our staff have the latest training in both trade skills and site safety.

- With new investments needing training and qualifications, we have made a conscious effort to invest in the skills of our team and subcontractors.
Thanks to our training partner Greenlight we have a fully trained workforce, our qualifications include:
- SMSTS qualified personnel on all sites
- Maintou/Telehandler drivers
- Dumper and High Lift Digger operators
- Excavator operators
- First Aid

SUPPORT STAFF & FACILITIES
Our Office Manager Alix is located at our offices in Kingsbridge. Alix keeps the back-office running smoothly and the premises provide storage and meeting facilities.
